Fundraiser on Facebook
Do you have an occasion to celebrate? Then you can organise a Fundraiser in favour of ABURY Foundation on Facebook. The donation is sent to us automatically.
Donate regularly and enjoy benefits
With your regular donation you will become a member of our circle of friends: For example, you will be invited to our Circle of Friends meetings and you will have the opportunity to initiate projects yourself.
Transparency is important to us. This is why we became part of the Initiative Transparente Zivilgestellschaft. So that you feel comfortable with your donation and don’t have to worry, we have compiled a list of frequently asked questions here.
How can I donate to the ABURY Foundation?
There are many ways you can support the ABURY Foundation:
- With a transfer to our account – either directly or with Paypal. If you would like to donate to a specific project, please mention it in the subject line of your donation.
- You can join the circle of friends
- You can do a birthday fundraiser and ask your guests to make a donation instead of bringing gifts. You can also do this digitally on Facebook and Instagram, for example.
What happens with the money I donate?
100% of your donation goes directly to the projects. Salaries for the team we pay from our economic operation (ABURY Shop). If you want to support a specific project, you can mention it in the subject of your transfer, then we will use the money for it.
Do I need to worry when making an online transfer?
No. Online money transfers are secure these days.
How do I receive a donation receipt?
For donations up to 300 euros, a simplified proof at the tax office is sufficient, i.e. the bank statement or the booking confirmation of the bank transfer. For donations over 300 Euro you will receive a donation receipt for submission to the tax office. For this we need your address, you can already tell us this in the bank transfer or please write an email to heike.janssen@abury.org.
Can I transfer from abroad?
Yes. You can also donate money to us from abroad. However, we can then not issue you a donation receipt, as we are currently only registered in Germany.
How can I support the ABURY Foundation on a regular basis?
If you like what we do and would like to support us on a regular basis, the best thing to do is to become part of our circle of friends. We are looking forward to meeting you.
