Emergency Relief After the Earthquake in Marrakesh

On September 8, 2023, a severe earthquake strikes Marrakesh and the villages of the Atlas Mountains, killing over 2,000 people and affecting more than 300,000. Douar Anzal is affected too. ABURY’s team on the ground responds immediately: together with the Marrakech Entrepreneurs Collective, they distribute blankets, food, and hygiene supplies in the mountain villages. Through donation campaigns, ABURY raises more than €16,000 for emergency relief and long-term rebuilding.
